It was a blunder by former West Ham keeper Robert Green who is now in goal for QPR!

Yeah next time take over from Conner...only joking lol

Shocking scoreline at loftus road,QPR spent a lot of money and it looks like a lot of work definitely needs to be done...Swansea showed they aren't missing Rodgers but if they like we can swap them for Laudrup Smile

For the first 25 minutes or so QPR looked the better team, even after going 1-0 down. QPR completely fell apart in the 2nd half though.

Have to give credit to Swansea though. Many predicted they would struggle this season after losing some key players and their manager, however to start the season scoring five goals away from home is a great achievement.

Going by today's performance, QPR could very well struggle again this season.

As for Fulham, wonderful display at Craven Cottage. What a debut for Mladen Petric.

I do expect Norwich to struggle this season, but to lose so emphatically to a mid-table outfit like Fulham must have hurt a great deal. A real humbling for Hughton and an excellent debut from Petric.

Perhaps even more surprised to see Mark Hughes' new-look QPR mauled in their own backyard by Swansea. I was expecting QPR to have a good season this time around after adding the likes of Park and Hoilett to their ranks, but it looks like they have a bit of work to do to gel everything together based on this performance. Shocking debut for Rob Green.

Swansea however looked extremely dangerous from the bits I've seen, Laudrup looks like he could be the perfect man to continue the work of Sousa, Martinez and Rodgers.

I got to say , i don't think i have ever seen a game like QPR v Swansea in my entire life.
I say that because QPR didn't even play badly ,they are a team of talented players and almost every one of them played well ,there wasn't one player that i could say there is the weak link. BUt yet they got absolute drubbed ,by a team who i could single out about 5 players who were rubbish! Bizarre game this one you want to talk about a score line that doesn't reflect the game then this is the best example you will ever find. Hoillet looked really good out there and i am still bemused to why a bigger team didn't come in for him it's a flipping joke. Arsenal should have grabbed him i now that ,and i would like to ask Arsene why he didn't look at him.
I think QPR will give a lot of teams problems this year ,if they can mature mentally and find their style of play soon, a very decent team that should definitely be in the top 10 come season's end.

Rumour was that Hoilett was asking for enormous wages which put off several bigger clubs.

Enormous wages to you lot is not enormous to premiership elite and at his age with the ability he has shown that's where he should be. Very Happy
On a serious note any idea of how much he wanted floody?
I am interested in knowing ,that way i can get a good judge on his character.

What lot? Confused

Not sure but that is what was said by many prior to him joining QPR.
