Bit gutted, away for the weekend for a wedding so going to miss the Blues game, although the hotel has internet so might have to sneak off and watch it on the laptop. :D
The Blackburn v Leicester game might be interesting although given Blackburns last attendance not sure how many will see it.

Cardiff have made a very slow start so far.
They need to improve otherwise they have no chance of going up again this year.

It is vital we pick up all 3 points at Ashton Gate.

Entertaining game at the Reebok tonight, as Bolton and Nottingham Forest played out a lively 2-2 draw.

Forest started much the better side and took the lead early on through a belting long-range effort from midfielder Lewis McGugan. Winger Chris Eagles notched the equaliser for Bolton just before half-time after captain Kevin Davies had struck the post with a header.

The game was turned on its head in the second half as Marvin Sordell scored his first goal for the Trotters. Forest refused to lie down however and secured a well-deserved point as Andy Reid collected a perfectly-weighted pass from Simon Cox and curled it into the top corner.

Results

Sat 25/08/12
Bristol City 4 - 2 Cardiff City
Charlton Athletic 0 - 0 Hull City
Sheffield Wedn… 3 - 2 Millwall
Huddersfield Town 2 - 0 Burnley
Middlesbrough 2 - 1 Crystal Palace
Brighton & Hov… 5 - 1 Barnsley
Wolverhampton … 1 - 1 Derby County

Watford 2 - 0 Birmingham City

Blackpool thrashed Ipswich Town 6-1 to make it 3 wins in a row!

Tom Ince put in an incredible performance scoring twice and also setting up 2 others in a man of the match display.

Leicester City can consider themselves unlucky not to have taken anything from the game at Ewood Park.

Nuno Gomes's goal was allowed to stand when a Rovers player was offside and standing in front of the visitors keeper

The Foxes then had one ruled out when James Vardy scored when it looked like he was level with the play.

Wayne Bridge hit his first league goal for something like 8 years as Brighton humiliated Barnsley at the Ammex.

Birmingham City put in a woeful display going down 2-0 at Watford while Bristol City beat local rivals Cardiff City 4-2.

Any comments on Saturdays results?

Anyway, an absolutely thumping win for Blackpool and they are certainly setting the early pace in the Championship. Disappointing for Paul Jewell and Ipswich though, they took their fair share of hammerings last season and it doesn't look like those defensive problems have been sufficiently eradicated.

Thumping win for Brighton as well, no goals before Saturday so far this season but that has well and truly been put right now. Another positive result of Bristol City against rivals Cardiff, while Wolves will be very disappointed to have conceded such a late equaliser. I'm sure the fans at Molineux will be keen to see some of the money received after the sales of Jarvis and Fletcher re-invested before the window closes this week.

Rhodes notching again as Huddersfield pick up their first win, but a third consecutive defeat for Dougie Freedman and Palace. Same for Peterborough, who went down at home to Warnock's new-look Leeds side.

Only managed to grab the 2nd half of the Blues game but wish I didnt, absolutely woeful and things will have to improve dramatically if we are aiming for a play off place.
Was at the same hotel as the Leicester team at the weekend but didnt get to see them as they were guarded a bit, hilarious given their standing. :D
