I can see that nobody has been keeping the Bundesliga II up to date.
Well, I’m back to put everything to right.
After just 5 weeks Eintracht Braunschweig have taken the league by storm with a 100% start but if you look at who they have played up to now they haven’t set the world alight except beating a fairly decent Paderborn side. Next Sunday they meet their most difficult task to date with an away game at 1860 München.
The next 3 clubs in the table are all on 11 points and they are Energie Cottbus, FSV Frankfurt & Kaiserslautern with Hertha BSC close up in 5th place on 10 points.
At the wrong end of the table MSV Duisburg have made a terrible start, not gaining a solitary point and they have been well and truly beaten in every game except their last one when they only went down 2-1 to a useful Kaiserslautern side. They are at home to Bochum on Sunday and I have a feeling that they might just earn at least a point this weekend.
Köln are having a bad start as well but I think their fortunes will change for the better very shortly.
