FT

Barcelona 2 - 0 Granada
1-0 Xavi 87'
2-0 Borja Gómez (OG) 90'+2

Granada were very close to earning a point at the Nou Camp
but Xavi who had come on as a sub on in the second half made the
break through on 87' and then an OG in injury time gave Barca a 2-0 win and 5th victory in a row.
At least Lionel Messi didn't score today!

Xavis strike was absolutely brilliant, another good substitution by Tito pays off. The Granada keeper and defence were pretty good last night, really thought we would drop points given the chances we had missed and Granada looked threatening on the counter.

Real Madrid's match away at Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night was abandoned!

Officials claim that the lighting in the stadium was sabotaged with intruders allegedly cutting the cables!

They hope to play the game now on Monday night but as of yet no time has been arranged for the kick off.

Rayo Vallecano 0-2 Real Madrid

Benzema scored in the 13th minute after a nice counter attack before Ronaldo scored a pen mid way through the second half to seal three points for Madrid in this rearranged derby.
