Couple of stats for the game last night,
Before the game:
Messi – CR
Goals: 9 – 8
Shots – 47 – 71
Conversion rate: 19% – 11%
Assists: 23 – 6

The actual clasico:
Of the players who finished the game, Pedro was the Barça man who made the fewest successful passes -38 – whilst Xabi Alonso made the most for Madrid -35.
Barça have never lost a game when Messi has scored two goals – having won 70 times when he’s got a brace and drawn three.
Xavi has now played in 35 Clásico games, the same number as Santillana and one more than Casillas.

Teams Messi likes to play:
18 goals: Atletico Madrid
17 goals: Real Madrid
14 goals: Seville

interesting stats Ronaldo - Messi... perfectly show that Ronaldo is all about shots while Messi is a more well-rounded and efficient footballer, and will play with his teammates, not with himself

Messi became the first ever Barca player to score 100 goals at the Camp Nou after his double on Sunday night.
