The team I follow in Germany is Borussia Dortmund.
I first started watching the Black and Yellows in 1997 when
under Ottmar Hitzfeld they won a thrilling CL final against Juventus.
Matthias Sammer was one of my favourite players during the 1990's.
Following that success BVB had many financial problems but things
are much better now thanks to winning the title the last 2 years in a row!.
My favourite player at the moment is Mario Gotze and I hope he stays at the club!

What Bundesliga club do you support and why?

Arminia Bielefeld for me! Sadly, not currently in the BL (but on our way back gradually!)

Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz

Well, Arminia consider just about any club north of the Rhein to be a local rival worthy of a derby attitude. This even stretches as far north as those naughty cat-burglars up in Rostock!
So, i hate nearly all Bundesliga clubs, and refuse to comment further! Laughing Laughing

Hehe, fair enough.
I saw Bielefeld live last season in the game against Chemnitz when it looked like you were on your way to the Regionalliga. They're looking good at the moment. Never understood how they could fall apart like this and go down so quickly.

I'm a long suffering season ticket holder!
After we were relegated from bl1 we got involved in a scandal involving one of the local hospitals. Following the investigation we were fined heavily and deducted 4 points.
We managed to survive the season in bl2, but during the summer of 2010 we effectively got rid of any player who was earning a livable wage! Hence mediocrity last season.

Different story now though, things are on the up. A good win today saw us back in to third spot. So, fingers crossed!!

Is it because the Dortmund fans also sing you'll never walk alone?

At the moment i have a fondness for Borussia Dortmund,Jürgen Klopp sounds a really pleasant sir and a noticeable character. If I was Moratti,I'd take him on to guide Inter.I think Borussia plays better than Barcelona now.
