Which 4 clubs will qualify for next seasons CL?

Pl W T L Pts +/-
Manchester United 13 10 0 3 30 14
Manchester City 13 8 5 0 29 15
West Bromwich Albion 13 8 2 3 26 8
Chelsea 13 7 4 2 25 11
....................................................................................
Everton 13 5 6 2 21 6
Arsenal 13 5 5 3 20 10
Tottenham Hotspur 13 6 2 5 20 1

WBA have had a magnificent start to the season but I don't see them being in the top 4 by the end of May next year!

I also think that David Moye's Everton will start to slide down the table as his squad isn't big enough and he has no money to spend in January.

Any thoughts?

Arsenal will likely find its way battling for 3/4/5 with Spurs and Chelsea.

as dull as it sounds i can't see any break from the norm with the two Mancs and Arsenal and Chelsea.

Everton have been looking poor lately which is a sign of things to come while West Brom will fade away but do a Newcastle at best. Spurs are the only ones likely to upset the status quo but consistency will be their greatest enemy.

Only the inconsistency of Arsenal with give anyone any real hope of snatching 4th and alot will depend on injuries to the likes of WBA and Everton if they are to have a chance so like Steely I cant see a change this season.

I'm not so sure if Chelsea or Arsenal will finish in the top 4 this season which could let in Tottenham.

Only the 2 Manchester clubs at the moment look like they will be playing in the CL again next season.

Well Brendan Rodgers thinks that Liverpool could finish 2nd in the PL this season which would mean they qualify for next seasons CL!

Does anybody else think this is possible?

So winning 2 league games on the bounce is a show of consistency so good itll end up with them making up 11 points on City and finishing 2nd? Is this some sort of exit strategy from Rodgers? Is he testing the water to see how he would fair as a comedian? Every time I see this guy in the press he seems to make a fool of himself.

Its even funnier he is proved wrong by his players. What a tit.

Rodgers plays Cole as a sub who helped turn a loss into a win and mid-week, slams his performances and says he may well be sold THEN!! brings him on when we're losing....

What state of mind would JC be in coming off the bench? He's hardly gonna be motivated to put in a shift.
I like Rodgers and i believe he can do well at Liverpool. But he needs to stop talking to the press.

Agreed. Liverpool were doing nicely before todays setback and coming out with outlandish comments like this is an unnecessary distraction.

Brenda would do well to remember the phrase "when you're up to your nose in sh*t, keep your mouth shut".

I just hope he doesn't say anything before we play Fulham next week. We need to have a good week next week with 3 games in 8 days space.

Team Pl W T L Pts +/-
Manchester United 17 14 0 3 42 19
Manchester City 17 10 6 1 36 18
Chelsea 16 8 5 3 29 11
Tottenham Hotspur 17 9 2 6 29 5
..........................................................................................
Everton 17 6 9 2 27 7
West Bromwich Albion 17 8 3 6 27 3
Norwich City 17 6 7 4 25 -6

Tottenham look like they could finish in the top 4 again this season and won't have to worry about an English side winning the CL this season!

Any more thoughts on who will finish in the top 4?

I'm hoping Everton can sneak into the top four, but I think it will look more like this:

Manchester United
Manchester City
Tottenham
Chelsea

Arsenal have won their last 3 PL fixtures in a row so maybe we shouldn't write them off just yet?

It looks like Chelsea are going to go on a run now and cement a top 4 spot so that leaves just 1 position left.

Will it be Tottenham or Arsenal who grab that 4th place?

If Arsenal fail to beat West Ham on Wednesday night they could really struggle now to finish in the top 4.

Despite the current table, I'm more worried about Arsenal finishing 4th. It was tough enough getting 7th!
