Fulham v Tottenham - 1st December

Postby Hams » Fri Nov 30, 2012 6:07 pm

Fulham drew their last game 0-0 away at Chelsea in the West London derby.
Martin Jol did well when he was Spurs manager and Dimitar Berbatov will also face his old side.

Tottenham beat Liverpool 2-1 at home in their last game and have now won their last 2 in a row.
Mousa Dembele and Clint Dempsey coulf both line up against their old team and be in for a tough reception on their return

Any comments or predictions?

Did you know that Fulham have won none of their last seven Premier League matches against Tottenham, losing the last five in a row (W0 D2 L5).

I think we should win this, our attacking three of Defoe, Bale, and Lennon are in great form and hopefully will have too much for the Fulham defence.

0-3 to Spurs - Defoe 41', Bale 78', Bale 90 + 1'

FT

Fulham 0-3 Tottenham
0-1 Sandro 56'
0-2 Defoe 72'
0-3 Defoe 77'

Any comments on todays result?

Do Spurs look like they will finish in the top 4 this season?

Is Defoe now the best English striker in the country?

Oi Jono, props for the prediction!! I actually thought we would lose for some reason

Fantastic second half for us. Defoe the destroyer in chief but in reality, the whole team played a part. I'm pleased that Gyfli and Dempsey assisted to boost their confidence.

I love the way AVB singled out Azza for recognition. The pundits always go on about Bale and Defoe, but Lennon can be just as important for us and has played extremely well for us.

COYS.

Cheers fellas.

It is getting ridiculous now with Bale and the referees, two games in a row he has been given a yellow card for diving when he was clearly fouled. I am all for punishing divers but do it when they actually dive, not whenever just to make a point. It is disgraceful.

Good win though, three points and we carry on our way.

Great win for the Lilly Whites, I thought the game would be closer, but Fulham were pretty toothless. What a poor atmostsphere at The Cottage, it makes The Library sound like a cauldren of noise! The downside of the game was injury to Dawson and Bale - they are key players we can't afford to be without. The upside was the rarest of rare things for Spurs, a clean sheet. They also sealed victory without the services of the Welsh man (where would Spurs be if he left tomorrow?).
On to a real tester next Sunday at Everton - the fans who doubted AVB have gone a bit quiet. If he can mastermind a win against Everton I think it is safe to say we have a manager who is the real deal. The Toffees are flying right now, we will have to be at our best.
Good day to be a Spurs fan, what with The Gooners taking a thumping at home by the Swans! :D
