West Ham stunned Chelsea at Upton Park as they gave the boys in Blue a 3-1 defeat ...after going 1-0 down early in the first half , the Hammers produced a second half comeback to complete a memorable victory ...manager Sam Allardyce was well pleased .

Liverpool did enough to beat Southampton 1-0 at Anfield ...the scoreline should have been more but again Liverpool lacked that finishing touch in front of goal ....but manager Brendan Rodgers was happy enough.."There's no question we should have been out of sight, but the most important thing is it was a terrific performance and another win at Anfield. We continue with another three points and moving up the league."

should be another of our clients, i believe... and it's not just hollow expectations. there couldnt have been a better time to take on this club. all the circumstances seem to be in our favour. the win against chelsea will have boosted our confidence drastically and we are again to engage into this battle being on our own turf the factor which also have an impact on our display. besides, i've seen Liver play this season and i didnt spot anything outtanding which would have made me bear some doubt concering the outcome of this match. we cant lose this game, simple as that.

1-1

I'm feeling confident and I'm going to predict a home win for the Hammers against Liverpool.

The Reds will be without Luis Suarez and other than Steven Gerrard have nobody else who can trouble us.

I hope that Big Sam will play Diame from the start and not Tomkins as a holding midfielder as he is not good enough for that role.

Carlton Cole will have another chance to make a good impression and Skrtel and Agger will be sure to have a busy afternoon

West Ham 2-0 Liverpool

ooooo... without suarez their chances are decreasing even more. he may be the only one player in that squad who could bring a threat by some offbeat actions.

1-0

demoralising 3-0 defeat for Liverpol coming up as Sam's Men put in yet another stunning performance after luring the opposition into believeing they have what it takes to get what would be an incredible draw for Liverpool.

we've done well against the lower clubs so i expect that to continue here as Rodgers team just pass it backwards all game without a clue how to react without their one man team on the pitch.

Nolan, Cole and Noble with the goals.

Who would have imagined a couple of years ago that us Hammers would now be predicting home wins against Liverpool!

Did you know Mrtz that Shelvey is a West Ham fan and played for our youth team until he moved on to Charlton.

it's been a nightmare set of fixtures for our opponents, not West Ham United. Cool

oh yes it was! ))))

if we hadnt looked so poor against spurs especially in the 1st half i would assess our performance so far as excellent, but now i have to dub it "good". if we do win this match i will have to raise the bar to "very good" Very Happy

West Ham have only lost once this season at home ..so unless Liverpool suddenly improve their terrible shots to goals ratio they will be hard pressed to get anything out of this game ..

I expect the reds to get something here ,I don't think the Hammers securing the scalp of Chelsea holds quite the same esteem it used to . I also believe Allardyce wont dare try and play football against Liverpool ,thus reverting to type and maintaining his penchant for leaving the very minimum of grass stains on the ball come full time. Smile

Did you know that West Ham have won just two and lost 13 of the last 18 Premier League meetings with Liverpool.

Any more comments or predictions?

HT

West Ham 2-1 Liverpool

Glen Johnson put Liverpool 1-0 up but the Hammers fought back
through a penalty from Noble and a cracking own goal from Gerrard to go in 2-1 in front at the break.
