Were now down to 10 men for the last 15 minutes or so.

Potts has been injured but all of our 3 subs have already been used.

Jesus, with half time talks like that I hope Sam is not thinking of taking up motivational speaking when he leaves football management (that may be sooner than he would like the way things are going for him at the moment). Unbelievable collapse. Shocked

FT

Arsenal 5-1 West Ham
0-1 Collison 18'
1-1 Podolski 22'
2-1 Giroud 48'
3-1 Cazorla 53'
4-1 Walcott 54'
5-1 Giroud 57'

Tonight I don't care if anyone has any comments or not.

All I will say is that our players are a bloody disgrace to the shirt and Allardyce should be SACKED.

Wouldn't have settled for a result less than this ,West ham have absolutely nothing to trouble us with and the fact they scored one goal is a joke.
Let's not get too excited ,it's west hame and games like this will not define Arsenal football club. A routine win for a club of this stature ,but it's the bigger fish we need to reel in if we are to qualify for champions league which i feel is very difficult at this point. So we have found the level of opposition that Podolski feels comforatble with at least ,so we can at least use him for such level opponent in the future and expect noting less than what he brought to the pitch tonight. Same goes for Giroud!

Really enjoyable game, and a great result.

Stand-out performances from Podolski, Walcott, Giroud and Cazorla; who were all outstanding. Obviously games like this don't say much about where we are, but it's good to know we have the potential to do this to teams and it's great for our confidence.

Hell broke loose in the start of the second half! I agree Allardyce should be sacked, much chance were given already. tsk tsk

On the upside, West Ham scored! Very Happy

the first half was relatively finely balanced. not a huge amount between either side and the game could have swung either way still.

however i have no idea what happened in those first few minutes of the 2nd half. i left when the fourth flew in so i haven't even seen the fifth. Arsenal are the best team to have played at Upton Park this season and just stepped up in class in the second half that we couldn't cope with which absolutely annihilated us.

it is claimed there were over 60,000 there last night. what a joke. there were more empty seats than at a Gary Glitter comeback gig. must have been at least 10,000 empties.

I don't blame you for leaving early Steely.

What I don't understand is why Allardyce dropped Diame,Joe Cole and Jarvis to the bench?

Our manager has clearly lost the plot and doesn't appear to have a clue what he is doing.

I still think he should be sacked and would like some sort of explanation as to why we suffered such a dramatic collapse.

Nigel Adkins is now available having been fired from the Saints and would be a perfect replacement.

Allardyce out!

that's some serious knee jerking.

i'm not exactly a fan of the fat manager but somtimes you just have to accept we were outclassed in a devastating ten minute period. outside of that we did ok and sacking the manager isn't going to help anyone.

i never want Adkins in charge of West Ham United.
