It sounds like Nick and Tipster should get a room!

Let us know when the wedding is so I can buy a new hat.

I'm against gay marriage.

I don't think it's right for two men or two women to bring up children into this world.

Can't they do that without being married anyway?

I don't agree they should, whether married or not.

For me, marriage is a union of a man and a woman. It's reproductive, it's the norm. It's the example we should set to young children. We shouldn't poison their minds with homosexuality, and entertain gay couples to get married.

If you're homosexual, fair enough. Keep your business indoors please.

At least, that's just how I see it

So Jo, Where did you get the no gay marriage opinion from? The bible?

All for it.

Saying that we shouldn't let two members of the same sex marry, is almost like saying we shouldn't give blacks equal rights.

I was waiting for you to raise that religious angle up! For the record, my opinion does not originate from the Bible or any religious book.

I don't get your comparison between a Black couple and a gay couple :?

I am 100% for it, everyone should be allowed the rights and entitlements that heterosexual couples get. The church doesnt own marraige so they dont get to prescribe it to us. Equal rights for all sexualities is the way of the present and future.

Ofcourse you are well entitled to your opinion but my opinion is that is some close minded . right there.

'poison their minds with homosexuality' ?????? Give me a break, you sound like the Westboro Baptist Church! Homosexuality is something you are born with, it is nature not nuture. A childs mind cant be poisoned with it, they cant catch it, and knowing it exists or is perfectly normal isnt going to make them gay. The only consequence I can see is the children/young adults who are going to grow up to be gay won't suffer such tremendous internal turmoil about their life choice as they will have the knowledge that in this day and age it is ok and it is acceptable to be who you have to be.

'If you're homosexual, fair enough. Keep your business indoors please.' - Why should they? Do you keep your business indoors? Do you tihnk you and your wife should be able to walk around holding hands but two gay dudes shouldnt? It isnt their problem that you are the way you are, your views do not reflect the majority in any civilised country these days, it is your problem not theirs.

Westboro Baptist Church    I nearly spat my wine out, reading that, BJ!

You are RIGHT. I am being extremely ignorant, I don't deny it. I am a bit of a homophobe, you see.

Is it a scientific fact that gay people are born that way?

Atleast you have the self awareness to realise that.

A scientific fact? I am not sure, it is supported by a lot of evidence in the scientific community. I cant say the same for the other viewpoint on the matter, that people are turned gay by some other factor.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely aware of my stance, don't worry about that.

The thing is, queering doesn't make the world go round. If the whole world was homosexual, there would be no future. It's not reproductive. It's not the way we are made, so it shouldn't get equal rights with heterosexuality, imho.

It's saying that a person, couple, or group is different to what is the normal.

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with differing views and opinions, but you almost sound proud of your homophobic stance, Jo. Would this be fair to say?

:?

White couple, Black couple, Yellow couple - it's still a couple. A union of heterosexuality.

Homosexuality is a completely different agenda.
