Man Utd v Everton

Postby Conner99 » Thu Feb 07, 2013 6:44 pm

Man Utd extended their lead at the top to 10pts with a 1-0 win away at Fulham , it was Wayne Rooney who got the all important goal in the 79th minute and it was a frantic final period for Man Utd as they survived some goalmouth scares to come away with the 3 pts .

Everton came back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with struggling Aston Villa at Goodison Park , two goals by fuzzy head Fellaini saved the Toffees and manager David Moyles will have been pleased at his side for the fightback and never givig up , the point keeps Everton in 5th place .

I would love it if Everton could repeat last seasons heroics when they came back to earn a 4-4 draw but don't think that will happen this time.

Man Utd 2-1 Everton.

Van Persie seems to have suffered a goal drought since Rooney came back ..dont think he has scored in 2 or 3 games .. :o , i agree about Man Utd winning ...they just are not losing at the moment .

Did you know that Wayne Rooney has scored eight goals in his last seven Premier League appearances and has scored or assisted 17 goals in 17 Premier League apps overall this term.

Any more comments or predictions?

Man Utd will be scared of playing Everton again after the 4-4 draw last time.

Man Utd haven't been playing the best, but still win, so I'm going for a DRAW here.

I've got a feeling they'll come against a much better team than they've faced recently.

1-1.

FT

Man Utd 2-0 Everton
1-0 Giggs 13’
2-0 van Persie 45’

Ryan Giggs has now scored in all 23 seasons he has played!

Man Utd go 12 points clear with 12 matches to go.

Any comments on todays result?

Good, I don't like Man City since they won the lottery. Even better, it keeps the Toffees in check for the fourth spot!

Sounded easier than I thought it would be for United, surely there is no way back for City from here!
