Millwall v Wigan

Chelsea v Man City

I'm sure Wigan will have been delighted to draw Millwall or Blackburn in the semi finals!

If Chelsea manage to beat Utd in their replay they will face City or we could have an all Manc semi.

Any comments on the draw?

Excellent - I like this kind of set-up - we'll have two cup-finals (the semi-finals) instead of one. Okay, the May Cup Final itself will be a bit drab, since it will be the hare against the tortoise. but never mind.

Both deserve a place in the Wembley, but I'll go with Milllwall. Too bad they can't fill the stadium like they did in the League One play-off final against Scunthorpe back in 2009 as they were just limited to having 31,500 tickets each. They will not also be given extra tickets even if Wigan won't be able to sell all their tix.

So Chelsea will play against Man City in the other semi final.

The Blues seem to have a great record in the FA Cup and could be on for a 5th win in 7 years!

Great win for Chelsea today, but I think City will be too strong for them in the semi final. Surprised how flat Utd were today, I was expecting a win for the Reds, but that's football I guess. I'd like to see Millwall come through against Wigan - and of course I'd like to see them dump City in the final, but I'm dreaming again. Rumour has it that David has slain Goliath in the past though......

Wigan have returned 10,000 unsold tickets to the FA who will open a neutral section.

It could be possible to just turn up on the day as long as nobody is wearing any team colours.

Millwall are close to selling their allocation of 31,000 but the Latics are still the favourites to win this semi final.

Sat 13/04/13 Millwall 0 - 2 Wigan Athletic

Wigan are through to the FA Cup final thanks to goals from Maloney and McManaman.

Congrats to the Latics.

I am glad Wigan have won ....never liked Millwall ..always seem to bring trouble with them , and so they have to Wembley ...disgraceful scenes at the famous stadium ..Millwall fans fighting each other . The FA should come down hard on the club ....

I agree with you Conner, shame on those Millwall scum who were fighting each other and hope the FA ban them for next years competition.

There was one scene with a poor young girl who was crying and looked petrified as grown men acted like animals causing mayhem around her.

Why were there so few police at Wembley during the semi final against Wigan?

Millwall have a long history for causing trouble and the old bill should have known this.

The idiot who took the hat has been identified as a Tony Shannon 27,who still lives with his mum near Lewisham Laughing
