Swansea v Tottenham

Postby Conner99 » Tue Mar 26, 2013 7:25 pm

Swansea fans went home feeling blue after a 2-0 home defeat by Arsenal ...after defeat the previous week by West Brom ..captain Ashley Williams has urged his team-mates to avoid ruining what has been a brilliant season so far . He said "I don't think we played very well." It was the same as last week, maybe even worse. It's disappointing to lose 2-0 at home. We've had a brilliant season up to now and it would be a shame to ruin it .We've got to find that motivation. If that's what some people are lacking, they've got to find it,"

Tottenham suffered a surprising 1-0 defeat to Fulham at White Hart Lane , it was the first home defeat since november and dropped Tottenham back down to 4th in the table ..manager Andre Villas-Boas has urged his players to bounce back following defeats by Liverpool and then Inter Milan in the Champions League .."I don't think it was a question of fatigue," he said. "We couldn't play our football as well as we have been doing at home recently , everybody is a bit disappointed." We know that three defeats is something heavy and we have to find the ability to bounce back."

I'm guessing that most Spurs fans are twitchy about this game, and I'm no exception! However, I've said they will qualify for the CL and if they are going to do that they need to win this one. Swansea 0 Spurs 1.

Did you know that Swansea failed to attempt a single shot on target in their last game (versus Arsenal) –
only the third time that they have not managed one in a Premier League match.

We were rubbish in the second half today, to be honest we were lucky to win. Having said that I'm so happy to still be in the fight. COYS!

It was another terrific display from Bale who set up one, scored and also made a crucial block at the end which could have let Swansea equalise.

I was a little surprised with Michu's poor behaviour.

He was acting like a naughty 3 year old and was lucky not to be shown a Red card.

Tottenham move above Chelsea into 3rd place in the table.
