Man City v Newcastle

Postby Conner99 » Wed Mar 27, 2013 8:38 pm

Man City saw their hopes of retaining the Premier League title all but vanish after losing 2-0 to Everton at Goodison Park , Man City have now lost their last 4 games against Everton at Goodison Park and what will hurt the most is the huge gap now between them and leaders Man Utd ...15 pts , even a red card for Everton`s Steven Pienaar after 60 mins could not turn the match around for Man City ..

Newcastle lost 2-1 to Wigan in a match filled with controversial decisions , a horror tackle and a handball decision that both caused fury within the home fans and the Newcastle staff and players ..the fact that Wigan claimed all 3 pts in the last minute was all the more hard for manager Alan Pardew to take ..."i dont want to get into trouble ..but i think the coverage will speak for itself , the tackle was awful and i have a boy going to hospital , they got a corner and it was handball , everybody saw it , it was pretty obvious ." .

City have no chance to win the title now but should still be too good for Francastle and their French foreign legion.

I think with Aguero returning on the 30th from a knee injury City will be too strong for a Newcastle
team without David Santon and the hugely influential Coloccini still out with a back injury.

City 3 Newcastle 1

Did you know that Manchester City have won 10 and drawn two of their last 12 Premier League matches
against the Magpies and will be looking for their seventh successive PL victory over them in this game.
