Bayern Munich v Juventus - 2nd April

Postby Hams » Thu Mar 28, 2013 2:29 pm

Bayern Munich are now 20 points ahead in the Bundesliga
and also through to the German cup semi finals and still on to do the treble if they win the CL.

Juventus are 9 points clear at the top of Serie A now and well on course to retain the title they won last year.

Did you know that Juventus have won their last five Champions League games, which equals their best run in either the European Cup or Champions League.

Any comments or predictions?

Dominant victory by Bayern here.. could have been a higher result though, but Robben and Ribery have been a bit to wasteful with their chances..

Juventus would be under enormous pressure, if Bayern manages to score a goal on the 2nd leg... they need 4 goals then

Here's hoping they manage a repeat performance in Turin.

ive posted before that i wasnt impressed by juve against celtic at celtic park and against a better team they were even worse. no wonder mourinho praised them coz they lack creativity and are too much of a tactical machine

If Chuck Norris hadn't tried to be flash and play his way out of defence in just the first minute we could have had a different outcome.

This was one of Andrea Pirlo's worst ever performance since he joined Juventus.

Seems Juve still need to grow in Europe? Although Bayern are just an animal of a team this season, their all round tempo and pressing and so intense and fast, their attacking play very good, defense strong.... Juve just couldnt handle it.

Mandzukic was outstanding, but Alaba didn't impress me.

Juventus need to be less sloppy if they don't want to be dominated at Turin in the second leg. Unluckily their best player in the first leg - Vidal will miss the return leg.
