Juventus v Bayern Munich - 10th April

Postby Hams » Sun Apr 07, 2013 2:46 pm

Bayern Munich won the 1st leg 2-0 at the Allianz arena.
They had a great start and scored the opening goal after just 1 minute.
Some say that Pirlo was responsible for the defeat and had his worst ever game for the Italians.

Do you have any comments or predictions for the 2nd leg? - Can the old lady still make the Germans pay?

Did you know that The last time Bayern Munich visited Juventus in Turin
they scored four goals (4-1 win in December 2009).

This is also the last home defeat registered by Juventus in the Champions League.

Any comments on tonights match? Do the Old lady have any chance to get back into the tie?

Mandzukic just saw a yellow card for a foul on Chiellini.... the replay revealed, that Chiellini actually fouled him..

Fouls are way to rough so far.. I hope no one gets injured

"Juventus's Mirko Vucinic has compared Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern Munich as a "war" which is still to be decided."

.. i think Juventus players are taking the term "war" way to seriously
.. Van Buyten already sat down on the bench, after a rough slap in the face from Vucinic... the funny thing is Vucinic has already slapped 4-5 Bayern Players that way.. How can the ref ignore this?!?

I hate it when a football game gets destroyed by such style of playing...

..in the first 20min Bayern Munich seemed very scared of Juventus' rough style of playing...

Juve tried to score early at all costs, but as that didn't happen, they got tired and Bayern gained control of the game again minute after minute..

..after all Bayern deserved the win in this game and over also the two legs of course..

Didnt think Bayern would be this much better than Juve, they really look fearsome....and Juve will need time to improve and change in order to challenge in CL.

I see that Mandzukic picked up a yellow card and will be banned for the semi finals.
I guess that will mean a recall for the forgotten man Mario Gomez?
