England sack Hope Powell

Postby Hams » Tue Aug 20, 2013 4:35 pm

England have sacked Hope Powell as manager following the disappointing display during Euro2013 in Sweden.

Was it the right thing to do and who will be the next coach?

it was maybe time for a change , Hope Powell has been there for 15 years and she has done a lot to make the England women`s team a force to be reckoned with ...although still not quite good enough to beat the real top teams in the women`s game .

The question now is do the FA look for another women to lead England or could they go for a male boss this time , it will take a bit of time i reckon .

Brent Hills has been doing a great job since taking over as caretaker with England winning all 4 WC qualifiers.
