Chelsea v Cardiff - 19th October

Postby Hams » Fri Oct 18, 2013 10:59 am

Chelsea won their last game 3-1 away at Norwich which was their first
away win of the season to move them up to 3rd in the table but none of their strikers are yet to score in the PL.

Cardiff lost their last game 2-1 at home to Newcastle and have been in the news for the wrong reasons.
Manager Malky Mackay was said to be close to quitting after his assistant was replaced by a family friend of owner Vincent Tan

Any comments or predictions?

FT

Chelsea 4-1 Cardiff
0-1 Mutch 10’
1-1 Hazard 33’
2-1 Eto'o 66'
3-1 Oscar 78’
4-1 Hazard 82’

Any comments on Chelsea's controversial equaliser when Eto'o stole the ball from Cardiff's keeper?

Should it have been allowed to stand?

Jose Mourinho was also sent off and ended up sitting with the home fans behind the dug out for the rest of game!

Any thoughts on Chelsea's first goal? I still don't see that there was anything wrong with it.

The Cardiff keeper dropped or bounced the ball however you want to look at it and Eto'o was in his right to take it off him.
