Ian Holloway leaves Crystal Palace job

Postby Hams » Wed Oct 23, 2013 8:02 pm

Crystal Palace have announced that Ian Holloway has left the club by mutual consent.

The Eagles who have had a poor start to the season were beaten 4-1 by Fulham on Monday night.

Is it fair that he has lost his job when he has only just led them to promotion from the Championship?

That press conference was so cringe worthy.

Alright Hams mate.

Yeah, it was just him and the chairman complementing each other just how good they are as people, which is ok, up until it ran into the 36 minute, then I began to feel a bit sick and put Sponge Bob on.

It's fair.

Plus it's a myth that Holloway got us promoted last year. If it wasn't for the start that Dougie Freedman was responsible for, we'd have never have gone up.

To be honest with you I never thought it was the most inspired appointment to begin with.

Crystal Palace have appointed Tony Pulis as their new manager on a 2 and a half year deal to replace Ian Holloway.

Will he be able to turn things around at Selhurst Park and keep the Eagles up?
