Stoke v Chelsea

Postby Conner99 » Thu Dec 05, 2013 5:56 pm

Stoke drew 0-0 with Cardiff in a match with few real chances ......zzzzzzzzzz

Chelsea beat Sunderland in a 7 goal thriller at the Stadium of Light , it ended 4-3 to Chelsea , manager Jose Mourinho talked about the set pieces where his side conceded goals from.."It was a very good performance."Even defensively, I think we did well, but the set-pieces... In the last six minutes of extra time, if they had two more corners, they would have won 5-4.
"When you play so well, you have to win comfortably and not give a headache to the manager in the last six minutes."

Eden Hazard was outstanding in the win at Sunderland and I think this Chelsea side will be just too good for a Stoke team in poor form at the moment.

Stoke 0-3 Chelsea

Its now Stoke 2-2 Chelsea

It sounds like a decent game at the Britania stadium

Shirley has just got his 2nd of the match.

FT

Stoke 3-2 Chelsea
0-1 Schürrle 10’
1-1 Crouch 42’
2-1 Ireland 50’
2-2 Schürrle 53’
3-2 Assaidi 90'

Mark Hughes enjoys his best win since taking over as manager of Stoke.

Chelsea appear to be in a mess in their defence and should maybe bring back Ashley Cole.

Any comments on todays result?

You just got to love it ,all we need is to win our game Sunday to keep the pressure on them and watch them start to Panic. ANd by them i'm talking about MAn U and CHelsea ,because it's getting close to the time where that squeaky bum starts echoing around the league for the European spots! :D

I'm about 30 minutes into the Spurs game right now and it is not looking good for them against Sunderland of all teams!
If Spurs drop points here ,they can almost as good as dead for Champions league status!

What a strike by Assaidi. If it's a goal to win the game in the last minute then you can't get better than that.

Think again chap, we are not down yet. Absolutely hilarious that Stoke won today, I couldn't be happier today. All the pressure on Arsenal tomorrow, I shall sit back and enjoy!

Stoke 0-3 Chelsea

see ..you and Pickleman got it badly wrong , I have been going on about the top teams not having it all their own way this season ...a good win in one match does not guarantee they will win the next game .

Stoke deservedly won and the last goal was a contender for goal of the season .
