Crystal Palace v Newcastle

Postby Conner99 » Wed Dec 18, 2013 10:25 pm

Crystal Palace suffered a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge , all the goals came in the first half and it was Palace who had the better chances after the break..but they found Petr Cech in good form as he produced some great saves to deny Palace a point that would have been most welcome .

Newcastle had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Southampton at St James' Park , the main talking point though were the scenes near the end of the match with Magpies goalkeeping coach Andy Woodman and Saints counterpart Toni Jimenez being sent from the dug-outs after a scuffle following a foul on Newcastle defender Massadio Haidara ...Newcastle boss Alan Pardew said after the match .."It was a bit of panto season. I'm not going to get carried away with that because it shouldn't take the headline".

Altogther now ....oh yes you are !! oh no I`m not .!!!
