Well done to Andros Townsend and his dad who did the draw for round 5 and pulled out a couple of real crackers!

Man City v Chelsea and Arsenal v Liverpool!

Do you have any early thoughts on these 2 games or the rest of the ties?

Arsenal will have to play Liverpool in Round 5 just 72 hours before they take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The TV companies have managed it seems to convince the FA to schedule the match late on a Sunday afternoon to attract a big viewing audience.

Any comments on this?

So Sheffield Ud who are 2nd from bottom in League 1 are the lowest
ranked side left and they will now take on Nottingham Forest.

I wonder how their coach Nigel Clough will feel about meeting his father Brian's old team?

Sunderland 1 - 0 Southampton
Cardiff City 1 - 2 Wigan Athletic
Sheffield Wedn PSTP Charlton Athletic

Craig Gardner fired Sunderland into quarter finals against disappointing Saints display.

FA Cup holders Wigan are also through thanks to last seasons Latics hero Ben Watson.

The game between Sheff and Charlton had to be postponed due to recent bad weather.

Nigel Clough's Blades side from League 1 are through to quarter finals!

He will be chuffed to bits as he can't stand the Haggis Yaffling Short Arse, hopefully he gave him another deadleg with his knee.

Well done Nigel and the Blunts!! :D

Mon 17/02/14
Brighton & Hov 1 - 1 Hull City

Mon 24/02/14
Sheffield Wed 19 : 45 Charlton Athletic

Briighton were close to beating Hull last night but a late Sagbo goal earned the Tigers a replay.

If Sheff Wed beat Charlton next Monday they will play against Sheff Utd in the FA Cup quarter finals!

Mon 24/02/14
Hull City 2 - 1 Brighton & Hove

Mon 24/02/14
Sheffield Wed 1 - 2 Charlton Athletic

There will be no Sheffield derby in the quarters after Wed lost at home to Charlton!

Gus Poyet will also not be able to take on his old club Brighton as they lost away at Hull.
