Chelsea v Galatasaray 18th March

Postby Hams » Sun Mar 16, 2014 4:39 pm

Chelsea drew the first leg 1-1 away in Turkey.

Can they defeat Galatasaray at Stamford Bridge and go through to the quarter finals?

This match will also of course see the return of Didier Drogba to his former club.

Chelsea 2-0 Galatasaray

FT

Chelsea 2-0 Galatasaray (3-1)
1-0 Eto'0 4'
2-0 Cahill 42'

Galatasaray really were awful and there was no threat at all from former Chelsea hero Didier Drogba.

At least we will have one English club in quarter finals.

This is exactly why it's so important to win your group in this competition. It's given Chelsea another spring board to launch an attack on the Champions League title again.

I'd be gutted if they win it again, but they have as good of a chance as anyone else left in the competition.
