why has it got to be owen scoring the winner?.. Rooney or bentley i say.. lol..
and seriously.. owen hasn't show decent performances lately.. do you think he's still in the team?.. capello certainly has got a lot of choices and he stated that he would only consider the best ones..

I hope Capello plays Robert Green. He is the real England No.1.

As long as he doesn't play Robinson I'm happy.

i love green.. he's a good one..
and robinson's also good enough.. if he doesn't do any blunders.. T.T

Perhaps experience will be the key to this game for England as I can see Capello calling upon the 'older' boys. I can see Owen scoring if he's selected and I have to say he has showed decent form as of late...more of a playmaker lately, but definately not ruled out as a striker.

I'd also be happy if Robinson wasn't selected...perhaps James would get the green light...

Score: 3-2 for England

you mean.. like beckham?..

well.. owen's supposed to be a striker and score goals.. not a playmaker who does the passings.. i think our Rooney has also been like that lately.. i can hardly remember the last time he scored.. T.T

any chances for kirkland?.. i was kind of shocked when capello put him in the squad last time..

I'm glad he's been made captain, he's by far and away the best defender in the England team and in the Premier League.

the blokes a legend.

i think his attitude towards it all and in particular McClaren has held him back.

when we played wigan they were singing 'England's Number 5' at him so he turned to them and said ,Im England's Number 6 actually and you lot are f*cking going down'

Laughing very likeable bloke, ive met him and he is a down to earth funny bloke, really dry humour!

I am expecting a very tight game 0-0 or 1-0 for us as we are a very much counter attacking team and england will not come and open themselves...

I couldn't be bothered watching it, but Sky Sports News had Neville Southall watching after the Wales game had finished.
He said a few things about England's various problems, and when asked what he suggested England should do, he said "I'm Welsh, I don't give a monkey's."
