Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has hit out at Inter’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a lack of respect following his petulant reaction to being substituted at the weekend.

Zlatan after being substituted against Palermo last sunday, left the pitch without aiming a glance at his coach Mancini and then saying while sitting on the bench: "Speriamo che se ne va davvero questo coglione" (I hope he really does leave, this j*rk)

"When I make a substitution, I demand that there is a handshake,” blasted Carletto.

“I think players are exaggerating things, they should have more respect, there are a lot of people looking, cameras and children, as well as the team-mate about to enter.

"Certain expressions should be displayed inside a dressing room and not in front of 80,000 people."

Many players do this nowadays but is it fair? I understand the frustration of the moment but a professional footballer should never abandon at this kind of behaviours not in front of millions of people. I'm with Ancelotti on this one total lack of respect

I have to agree.

A young kid like Long being given no change against Skrtel and then reacting to it is one thing, it is misdirected passion that if he learns to channel could stand him in good stead for the future. An established professional like Ibrahimovic (who is an idiot anyway as the story of him in the airport will attest to) having a sly dig at his manager and showing no respect is quite another.

Long had a tough day was frustrated and reacted badly but he will learn from that. Ibrahimovic should and does know better.

Perhaps though I am a bit bias in this one as I think Ibrahimovic is a nice example of just what I don't want to see from a footballer player when it comes to attitude.

I think Ibra did have a point. He wanted was actually trying hard to score and then Mancini subs him out at a point where you just feel like lashing out at him.

I know the feeling. Because you are trying so hard and then all of a sudden the manager just takes you out. It really drives you mad.
