Don't need to be especially fit, but it does help a bit. Your understanding will become better because you'll be involved more, and also on a camaraderie level it'll be good to be respected for trying on the pitch by your fellow candidates. It is annoying to see the same people sit out all the sessions and take loads of notes.
Great time to try it too, the SSG's will help your team greatly, although the technique side of it may be a bit boring. Good luck |

Hi oslo Coaching is not a reflection of your ability to play the game or your ability to get up and down a football pitch. Its really a test of your knowledge of certain situations and your ability to realise when mistakes are being made and your ability to remedy those mistakes and how you structure your practices. Heres a scenario for you. If you found yourself in a situation where you were up against the quickest player and beagn to struggle, whoever is coaching should realise that situation and look at redressing the balance just as you would be expected to do if you were coaching your own team. Coaching is so much more than session plans and practices which are obviously important. Remember coaching is not a test of your ability to play its a test of what you can get others to do on the pitch for you. Dont worry, relax and enjoy the experience. |
