Alright folks. Just a staunch Liverpool fan here who loves football and wants a bit of friendly banter.

The reason I chose "namaste" as my greeting is that I believe before you can love the game you must respect it and in my opinion not enough people do.

Once again namaste fans of football.

(Namaste is an asian greeting and means I bow to you in case you can't be bothered to look it up or were wondering what the hell it was.)Razz

Thanks all.

Rev, Istanbul was a beautiful city and I am a bit upset I didn't get to see more of it (spent most of my time on a coach from Dalaman sadly). The people in Turkey reminded me very much of those from my city Liverpool. They get a bad name because if you bring trouble their way they are more than willing to stand their ground and then some, but if you respect them then they will give you the shirt off their backs.

I would not go back to Greece and was very dissapointed overall (other than the manager of a hotel who put me up short notice and was a really nice fella despite supporting United. Razz) but I would go back to Turkey in a second.

Just notify me when you come over to Istanbul matey Wink
I could help you as possible as I can with a big pleasure.

Unfortunately there were some some fights taking place between Liverpool and Galatasaray supporters before match had begun and 6 Liverpool supporters killed Sad

I really felt sad to this incident very much and telephoned to Liverpool Club.I mean it.I took the number from website of them and told them my condolances and let this never be an obstacle between Turkish and English people's friendship Wink

They thanked me a lot.
