We have now scored 4 or more on 9 occasions this season in all competitions. We have managed 3 or more on a dozen occasions.

We average 1.92 goals for per game (06/07 - 1.76, 05/06 - 1.3Cool. If that rate remained the same for the final 8 games, we would reach 109 goals scored. 4 more than last season despite playing 2 games fewer.

We average 1.41 goals against per game (06/07 - 1.29, 05/06 - 1.05)

Keane has now equalled his 06/07 total of 22, with 8 games still to go.

Berbatov is two short of his 06/07 total of 23.

Keane and Berbatov now have 88 goals between them in two seasons. An unlikely haul of 6 each in the remaining eight games would see them not only reach a century between them, but also reach a half century each over the past two terms.

The average total goals per game involving Spurs for this season in all competitions is 3.33 (49 games so far), last season it was 3.05 (59 games) and in 05/06 it was just 2.43 (40 games).

AGAINST THE TOP 4 (past 3 seasons):

P W D L F A GD PTS PTS/GAME
07/08 11 2 4 5 18 21 -3 10 0.91
06/07 12 1 3 8 11 26 -15 6 0.50
05/06 8 0 4 4 5 10 -5 4 0.50

GOALSCORERS vs THE BIG 4 (past 3 seasons):

TOTAL - 34 - Keane (Cool, Berbatov (6), Jenas (6), Own goals (3), Lennon (2), Woodgate (2), Malbranue, Bale, Huddlestone, Ghaly, Mido, Dawson, King (1 each)
07/08 - 18 - Keane (5), Berbatov (4), Jenas (2), Woodgate (2), Lennon, Malbranque, Bale, Huddlestone, Own goals (1 each).
06/07 - 11 - Berbatov (2), Keane (2), Own goals (2), Ghaly, Jenas, Mido, Dawson, Lennon (1 each)
05/06 - 5 - Jenas (3), King, Keane (1 each)

This is one of my favourite stats: in our last games against each top four side, we are unbeaten.

Last game v Arsenal - 5-1 (who can forget that?? Laughing )
Last game v Chelsea - 4-4 (and 2-1 before that in the Cup final)
Last game v Man Utd - 1-1 (they needed a last minute equaliser to draw)
Last game v Liverpool 2-2 (they also needed a last minute equaliser to draw)

Slowly but surely, we're starting to mix it with these guys, after feeling inferior to them for so long Very Happy

Yeah I was thinking about it the other day because I work with plenty of Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool fans, and to each one of them I had a decent comeback to any banter they dished out - and like you said that's the first time in ages I can remember that happening.

I was watching the Chelsea v Arsenal game surrounded by scum, and I was giving it LARGE to both sets of fans: "step aside now assholes, WE RUN LONDON NOW!!"..."get this fcukin mickey mouse London Derby off the TV!" Laughing Laughing

At long last, the time has come to hold our heads up high, fellow Yiddos Very Happy

For the first time in 42 years over 100 goals have been scored at White Hart Lane in first team competitive matches.

Darren Bent's opener against Portsmouth - coincidently, in the 250th senior appearance of his career - took the goal tally past the hundred mark in all first team competitions this season.

Our 24 home games have yielded a total of 101 goals to date, 65 for and 36 against.

The North Stand at the Edmonton end of the ground has seen 53 goals with 36 for and 17 against, whilst the South Stand at the Tottenham end has witnessed 48 goals, 29 for and 19 against.

The last time this occurred was back in 1965-66 when 103 league and cup goals were recorded, 63 for and 40 against. On four occasions in the interim over 90 goals were scored, with 99 in 1984-85, 96 in 1972-73, 95 in 1985-86 and 94 last season.

The record since we joined the Football League in 1908 stands at 120 goals, shared by seasons 1961-62 and 1962-63.

The latter saw us achieve a club record tally of 72 home goals scored in a league campaign and with 28 goals conceded the 100 mark was reached for the only time in our league history.

Next best is the Double campaign with 109, followed by 1958-59 and 1952-53 with 107 each and 1956-57 with 100.
