Maradona is the best footballer ever. With a ball, or an orange, Zidane , Kaka, Ronaldinho, Cruyff, are great players but they can't or couldn't reach Maradona's level.

I will be honest here, first I have seen both play 'live', not on a film or tv, but sat in the stadium where they were playing. I saw Maradona play for Boca Jr's, as a young player be he has reached his greatness, and I saw Cruyff play in the twilight of his carrer.....for me, they played a bit differently, so to say one is better than the other is only based on ones opinion.....I was in awe of some of the things Diego did, but at the same time so was I when I saw Cruyff....For me, I'd take either one, but Cruyff was a player that made his team mates better, and Maradona was more of a one man show.....

It's all about preference, and while I'm not boasting, again I say I have seen them both play....How many of the previous people who have made statements can say that?
