Nottingham Forest Football Players investigated |
|
Nottingham Forest chief executive Mark Arthur is to investigate complaints that Forest players misbehaved on a night out.
Members of the public complained to the club after a group of players went out in Nottingham city centre on Tuesday evening. Arthur has promised action if the complaints prove justified. He told the Daily Mirror: "We have received complaints from members of the public regarding the behaviour of a group of players in Nottingham city centre on Tuesday evening. "We have launched an internal inquiry and will take appropriate action against the players concerned if we find they have a case to answer." Forest, who won the European Cup in 1979 and 1980, are on the brink of relegation to League One. They are second bottom of the Coca-Cola Championship and need to beat Burnley on Saturday if they are to keep alive their slim hopes of avoiding the drop. |
