Borussia Dortmund claim they have convinced South African striker Delron to join them next season.
Michael Zorc, Dortmund's sporting director, said the player's signature on a two-year contract is the only thing missing.

The German club are taking advantage of a US$550,000 get-out clause in Buckley's contract with Arminia Bielefeld.

"Buckley is a fast wide-man and suits our 4-3-3 system perfectly," said Zorc.

"He has the ability to deliver pinpoint passes to the centre forward."

The creative talents of the 27-year-old Buckley are not the only feature of his game.

Buckley's 15-goal tally for unfashionable Bielefeld is a clear indication of his striking prowess.

English Premiership side Blackburn Rovers and Spain's Atletico Madrid had also registered their interest in Buckley.

While the Bafana-Bafana player can look forward to a new challenge next season, his run in this season's championship is over.

The German Football Federation slammed him with a six-match suspension for confronting referee Markus Merk.

Merk awarded a last-minute penalty to Bayern Munich as Arminia went down 2-0 in last Wednesday's German Cup semi-final.

He's a good player and he has the potential to move up a level, not sure if Dortmund was the right move, I think Atletico would suit him.

I dont think he should go to a club like Dortmund, to high of expectation I think. I think he should go to a team with a smaller reputation, and then move up the level. As Mars_ said he has the potential to move up another level, but first he should take his time.

Dortmund are only mid-table! He's been their, he needs to move top table Germany or mid-table Spain, Italy or England!
