To be honest mate, that sounds like the monitor has had it. These days, it is not worth repairing them either with the price they are to buy new.

aahhh right .......maybe your laptop has not been configured for hi-def viewing yet .....check your display settings and see if it says anything about dual screen mode or changing the settings for hi-def ..

hmmm...does your laptop have a graphics card icon along the bottom right of the screen ...or in the control panel . On my pc it has an NVIDEA program that allows me to change resolution ....display ....all sorts of options .

Or on your tv ....you need to find the menu button and see what you can find from that ....a lot of tv`s now have 3 or 4 settinsg .....hdmi .....dvi.....component .....composite .....may have to mess around with a few to see if that works ..

Can yopu connect a normal dvi or vga cable to the TV ....does that work ok ...

Hi mate,

What make laptop do you have?
On my Acer, I use alt and F4 to change the output display. It is likely to be a similar option on your laptop.

You have a choice to have the same display on both screens, or the display only out the output device and not the Laptop.

Let me know your laptop make and model and I'll try and find the instructions for you.

When you say freezing, does it show fine on your own pc during a video conference? Is it only other people who notice it has frozen?

What application to do use to chat on cam?

Have you installed the correct drivers for that mouse? Did you get a CD with it?

As for the webcam, it could be several things causing that. You should have a program on your pc that will let you view cam without being in a conference call. I would try that to see if it freezes. If not, then it is more than likely to do with your broadband connection causing it to drop out.

for the mouse problem .....obvious one ...but are the batteries ok . Do you have any buttons on the wireless receiver that would help ...ie some mouses have to be syncronised with the receiver for them to work properly .

Something to try is search google for answers ...just type in `microsoft wireless mouse 700` , many times i have used this to solve a problem i had on my pc ...you wont be the only one having trouble .

well i dont know if you have to press that button on the receiver to communicate with the mouse or press the mouse button ...it may be worth trying to see if it helps . The mouse could be going into sleep mode .....or it could be faulty . Did you get it from a shop ...internet ...can you take it back .

Do you have any options in the control panel for the mouse ..?
