My brother formatted my computer today and all of a sudden my MSN password doesn't work Mad

I have the same password for everything, tried 600 variations of it and I got nothing. I tried reseting my password with the 'Alternate Email' option but I have no clue where the email went because its not on either of my alternate emails.

Also using contact details and my secret question didn't work. The question isn't the one I had set! It was my question from before and I have no clue of the answer.

Anyone know what to do?

Yeah I was thinking the same.

Although the form I had to fill out to reset my password, I had to reinstall Firefox because it didn't show on Microsoft Internet Explorer. Laughing

Format is great, as long as you backup the important information.

Conner, i did the defragmentation thing, and only sped it up by 8%. Is there anything else that can make a bigger improvement?

oh yeah .....it clears a lot of junk (old files , unwanted registry entries , duplicate files )from your hard drive and helps to make your pc more stable and potentialy faster , worth a try i would say .

Oh , by the way , it could also be worth running that defrag again .....i got an extra 10% boost when i ran it a second time ..

I've done both of the ones mentioned. The CCleaner seemed to clear more than the other one. It gave a list of all the stuff that was going to be cleared, and there was loads. It seems to have helped aswell, bit faster than before.

I've done the CCleaner twice, and the auslogics defrag twice, and its not got any better. Is there anything else worth giving a go, or is my computer just too sh*t? Laughing
