Name: Laura Jeffery
Age: 18
League of Interest: All English Leagues

Do you have time to write weekly articals: Sure Do

Write a paragraph about your favourite Footballer here:

My favourite Footballer has to be Mr Karl Fredrik Ljungberg (aka Freddie) Aside from his annoyingly persistent injury problems and frequent migraines, he is to me, one of the hardest working players in the EPL. Naturally a left side midfielder he players along the right for Arsenal and works all down the length of the pitch to get his fair share of magical goals from time to time! He’s a key player to the current Arsenal squad and this was apparent from the moment he first stepped on the pitch as a substitute back in 1998 against non other than Manchester United and would you believe it he scored within 5minutes! And to think this guy nearly pursued a career in handball… I know I’m glad he didn’t!

Name: Ian Walker
Age: 16
League of Interest: Championship is my main interest. I also like League one.

Do you have time to write weekly articals: Too much Very Happy I am also going to study media studies next year so this would help greatly.

Write a paragraph about your favourite Footballer here:
Steven Gerrard is not only a great player for his inspirational performances on the pitch, but also off the pitch, Gerrard is a great sportsman and a very professional one. He is never front page news for the wrong reasons like such players as Jody Morris and Paul Gascoigne once was. The only time you see Gerrard’s name in the paper is when he is winning games for Liverpool or visiting a sick child or any sick fan in hospital which ultimately changes their life and gives them a new reason to fight for their life. He is not the sort of person to turn his nose up at charity work and always goes along to community coaching activities to meet the children that turn up.
Another reason I picked Gerrard as my favourite player is because he has trophies and international caps to show for his achievements. One of these trophies being the biggest trophy in domestic football, the European Champions League and if anyone has deserved to win a competition this big it is Gerrard for the work and effort he puts in; not just on the pitch but even at training and work off the pitch. Gerrard has also one many caps for England not ever winning anything but when England do lose any match you can always trust that Gerrard has put in his all for his country and other than maybe a few I have never seen anyone play for their country in the manner Gerrard does and I don’t think he is appreciated enough for his efforts on and off the pitch.
On the pitch when playing in his red Liverpool shirt he is the most inspirational player I have seen in my life time. He is always always getting back and helping in defence and he will nearly always be the man who will start the counter attack with his incredible passing ability spreading the ball out wide or a long ball down the center and he can even run with the ball and is not afraid to take people on. His awesome vision and ability to play the passes some people only wish they could do, creating numerous chances, helping out the defence when needed and this itself would put Gerrard as easily one of the best midflelders of modern time and arguably the best for a very long time.

Sorry I got so carried away but I was in my zone. What can I say, the man inspires me.

Yes mate!

Try - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

Then use the search facility!

Place - Germany national football team in the search or whatever country you are doing and you will find stuff to re-write!

Must rewrite though - no duplicate sentences or paragraphs!
