Just saw it on the ITV news that England draw for the group stage may look like this:

England
Holland
Ivory Coast
South Korea

If this is the case.....I'm sensing a early holiday for the English players... Laughing

Are you worry about Korea and Ivory Coast?? Come on! You're England! Where's your pride???
Korea won't be you unless they buy the referees like in their home worldcup, with those polemical matches between Italy and Spain. A shame.

as of late Korea is looking like a decent team....much better than the team during the 2002 world cup...and Korea beat Spain fair and square..lol stop moaning..

and as for Ivory coast..they are a team that are up and coming.potenially a good African side that has a few quality up front and med...

anyway we dont even know the group stages yet so lets wait till the 7th!!..

You shouldn't forget that Drogba led Ivory coast to the World Cup. He's an excellent player but he's the only one in his team. England has a row of world class midfielders. They should be able prevent his attacks.

South Korea is a good team. Very quick and technical and they never stop running. And a referee that is wise enough not to blow the whistle every time a player from Spain or Italy takes a dive is not necessarily Korea friendly, but probably just a good ref.

Excuse me but I bet you don't know what you're talking about. I'm not talking about dives, I am talking about three legal goals the referee and assistants cancelled for Spain. One to Helguera, and two to Morientes. I don't know if you remember that assistance of Joaquin to Morientes and the ref said it was out. A TOTAL SHAME!

Agreed it does, and I did at the time feel that Spain were hard done by with those goals. It is the same way we felt as a nation when our goal in the Euro championships against Portugal was ruled out. But as Kerkii said, this is all in the past, and we have to focus on the future. I have written a full artical on the World Cup, which is to be published on the site shortly. Once it is published, I will be expecting many people to disagree with me, and I expect ALOT of topics to be made as a result of it. This is what the World Cup is all about - optimism, excitement, opinions - I love the whole thing Smile
