Michael Ballack - His a agressive guy very much like Roy Keane. His a good midfielder and the press in Germany treat him like a god. The press here rated him the best European footballer the world rated him 14th place Laughing

Lukas Podolski - Nickname is Prince Podolski he is only 18 years old his scored 10 goals in 19 games this season alone. Absolutely brilliant forward his an out and out goal scorer not as creative as Rooney but just as good. He plays for Cologne at the moment who are almost bottom of the league. His very dedicated to the team though he was offered a huge transfer deal last season but refused and signed up for a few more years at Cologne. No doubt next season he will move though he seems frustrated and held back. Bayern will snatch him up.

Tomas Rosicky - Plays for Dortmund highly overated. He plays great for the national team but in club football his useless.

Metzelder - Dortmund and German player worst defender in the Bundesliga enough said.

Kahn - Best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga scares the crap out of forwards with his aggressive approach. Commands his team around very much like Peter Schmeichel.

Weidenfeller - Dortmund goalkeeper. In my opinion second best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga he makes diving saves that even Banks would be proud of. Only trouble is he dont come from the goal line when needed and he kicks crap.

Lars Ricken - He has been overlooked for the last four years he is a great player and only 26 years old what waste of four years! This guy won Dortmund the Champions League after coming on as a sub scoring the winning goal! After that he was put on the bench for fours years for argueing with the coach! He was then ignored by Matthias Sammer. Finnally present coach Bert Van Marwijk decides to bring him into the first team! Ricken has won several games for Dortmund since but has recently got injured so his out this season Sad

Jan Koller - Another Dortmund player who again is overated he cant do anything with his feet but scores every game with his head! Recently said he wants to move from Dortmund because he didnt want to take a pay cut (this was due to Dortmunds huge debts) Soon after he got injured and will be out for the rest of the season meanwhile he takes his weekly wage while waiting for his injury to heal Confused

Thats it for now but I am sure my girlfriend will add more to this Wink

Quality post - keep it up!

I suggest you perhaps create a thread for individual players or their teams and then i becomes team focussed and much more interesting!

I will maybe assist tomorrow!

Thats true General but I dont think there are that many German Bundesliga followers. If you have every club on seperate threads alot of them will be empty. I know myself I cant tell you anything about clubs like Wolfsberg and Bremen lol. It might be better just to have post about anything Bundesliga related so people can have a quick look on here see things that interest them and reply.

Umm, Bremen just advanced to the second round of the Champions League in a marvellous way! There are a lot of well known guys playing: Micoud, Klose, Borowski...

I don't agree with you in that point. Have you ever seen Christian Wörns? Wink

He's also a Dortmund and German player and I'm wondering how he has managed to stay in the national team for nearly ten years.

And there some other defenders like Timo Wenzel from Kaiserslautern. He has made some enormous mistakes this season.

None of Dortmunds defense is much to talk about but Metzelder takes the biscuit for me he makes a costly mistake every game and turns the game defensive everytime he plays. The German press and Premiere moderators seem to like him though.

Yeah, because he's young, he played good at the last World Cup and so on. Maybe it's also because of his injury, who knocked him out for 1,5 years.
