Much to my delight, Caley have kept their long away run intact today against a Rix side that has so far failed to impress. How long can they keep it up, and can they get a place in the top 6? Jut missed out last year, and a lot more competiton this year with the dons always right behind us and Motherwell and Kilmarnock right up there as well, so its going to be tough. But, as always, i have complete faith in Brewster. Just wish he could sort out our striker problems. Crying or Very sad

Brewster has done a fantastic job at Caley so far, mainly due to the fact he is still playing. I think that they will be able too keep it up as long as they dont get any heavy defeats or injuries which could demoralise the squad.

Yea thats the only thing, what are Caley gonna do when Brewster hangs up his boots. Well he's only 38 so they wont have too worry about that until he starts picking up his pension. Laughing

Only 1 point behind the Gers!

But the odd thing is, a few bad results would end up meaning you could be sitting in 10th place if other results go against you.

The SPL format is a funny old game.

Caley have about 300k to work around in the january transfer window, thanks to our new chairman. Could buy someone decent for that kind of money. We are going to offer Wyness a contract as his one with Hearts runs out soon, but he doesn't even get a game. Dargo could score a lot more considering the chances he has maybe he will start soon. Teh rumour of John Rankin coming to caley has been rubbished by Brew himself, pity about that.

I don't think we will do as well in the SPL without Brewster, but i think we have just enough quality to stay up, considering Brew didn't play against Gers, a draw, Dunfermline, a win, and Aberdeen, a draw, which is a good string of results. There is no doubt that Brewster makes a big difference to the squad, but i think we can cope (just).

Someone should go for Gretna's Kenny Ducher, wonder if he could cut it in the SPL.

Wonder how much Adamou Konte would cost us? Hibs would most probably rip us off.

I think we will see a lot more of the whole Loaning thing after Hearts, maybe for a club like Caley that is a good direction to take. Is there much of a youth academy there?

Dunno about Caley, but Ross County have a really good youth system up at Dingwall.

Fetai didn't even get a game. We have a good youth system, i think its a lot like countys.

Might just consider Konte then.
