There are rumors that Guus Hiddink is gonna be the new coach
of Man Utd at the end of next season. . Sir Alex Furgeson isnt doing very well right now and he is there already for all long time. And Guus is not really happy in Holland, because of a small problem the tax inspector has quistioned him for 20 hours. And he was threated like a criminal. A person with that state of reputation needs to get a little bit of respect. And the interigation was one day before the half finale with AC Milan last season.
Is Man Utd ready for a new coach?

I've said this before, managers with his knowledge of the game and track record are not easily found. He's a great coach for any club to get hold of, and I think given a bit of time he would do well at Man U.

The Russia job seems to be a pretty sure thing now, and the only other rumor of him going somewhere is Real Madrid, and I don't think he wants that.

I will say this, England is letting the best available coach go, and whomever they choose off their 'shortlist' will be second best to Hiddink and what he brings to the game.......

I read today that Hiddink thought of it as an insult to be on the England job shortlist? Whatwas that all about and surely it should be a good thing to be considered for such a high profile job

Not sure what all that is about, I don't think we are getting the full story there, or at least clarification of what did or didn't happen. I guess he didn't want to wait around to see what would come of it all, and it sounds like he will be coaching the Russian National team now.

It's all 'bridge under the water' now, he will not be England’s next manager, and I personally find it to be difficult to understand especially when you look at what those on the 'shortlist' bring to the table as opposed to what Guus brings to the table. Thus, I personally conclude that England has lost out on the best available manager and will settle for second best, no matter who they choose on that 'short list'.. Wink

no I don't believe that.. Based on interviews I saw on tv with Hiddink, I don't believe he could say something like that..

Especially cause Russia said months ago that Hiddink comes to Russia.. Hiddink didnt want to talk about it back then..
