Hearts fans are beginning to heap pressure on new head coach Graham Rix.

The team were booed off the Tynecastle pitch for the first time this season on Saturday as they slipped three points behind SPL leaders Celtic after a disappointing 0-0 stalemate with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Derek Watson, secretary of Hearts Supporters' Trust, said: "It's a bit early for petitions, but a lot of people seem to be questioning Graham's tactics.

"There was no lack of effort against Inverness, the players were trying, but there was a lack of organisation.

"Graham said if wasn't broke, he wouldn't fix it, but he has made minor changes to the team and they don't seem to be working.

"Playing Paul Hartley in a defensive midfield role was certainly something people seemed to be unhappy with.

"Some players are not sure where they're playing and are not moving the ball about as well. I thought the booing was a bit unfair at the end, but people pay their money and are entitled to criticise.

"We have definitely gone off the boil and it's important we get back to our best with important games against Rangers, Falkirk and Celtic coming up - these matches could shape our season.

"We're not playing nearly as attractively as we were just a few weeks ago - the last game we played well in was against Dundee United on 5 November."

Rix admitted: "I can understand where the fans are coming from as it was a frustrating afternoon for us all. But they have to understand we had key members of our team missing. With all due respect to the boys who played up front, I think we missed Roman and big Edgaras - they are two big players for us and we need them.

Romanov has stuffed up big time! I would be very suprised if Rix manages too stay until the end of the season.

Hearts fans must be fuming, they really are starting too turn into a laughing stock if they weren't already by now.

Romanovs other club, can't remember name, though it begins with an F? he sacked 4 managers in a matter of months there, the last manager lost ONE game, I think he won all the others, but it still wasn't good enough to win the league, so he sacked him as well.

Maybe he was obsessed with the whole Chelsea thing? How anyone thought Rix was the man I do not know, but this is just typical of the majority of Scottish Football Fans, as soon as Hearts were on top, half your mates turned out to be Jambo's! Now that they are struggling, and I still feel they will finish 4th, they boo and pretend they aint interested in football again.

2nd place in this league right now is pretty good, they should be grateful and wake up to reality.
