Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd is headed for the English Championship in January.

Boss Jim Jefferies said: "We've had a very good offer from a Championship side, a big offer and the offer was accepted.

"We've had a few teams phoning and say they'll get back to us but this team are really wanting to get it done and dusted so they can have him on Jan 1st.

"I've never had an offer from Rangers. Maybe the chairman knows something I don't know but he keeps me up to date.

"But this offer is great but it's not up to us, it's up to Kris. We accepted an offer from Cardiff just before the season got under way and he didn't go there and this is a bigger offer than that.

"It will be a great offer for the club but it has to suit Kris Boyd, you can't force people to go."

He won't go to Sheff Wed, hell even former Wycombe Man Tyson who was in League TWO turned them down! If he does he is an idiot.

Nah, Rangers arent after Miller it was all speculation!!!

Kris Boyd should stick put, unless he gets a half decent offer.

I would go if i was him, big money (compared to Killie) and probably a start in the team.

I agree, but too a Championship club that is more likely than not to be relegated!

If Wolves or Southampton a more stable club came for him then great, but theres no point playing for a team who will be in League 1 next season.

True, but i would take my chance, if he made an impression then if they were relegated he would probably stay in the division as someone would buy him.

Yea but thats a big 'if', he would certainly be taking a huge gamble.

I mean its this season he has really started too show true form, another SPL club should buy him and keep him in Scotland.

They apparantly accepted a £500k bid, while Rangers have offered a Take it or Leave it £250k bid lol Wonder which club Kris will want to go to.
