Celtic are set to shed at least three of their senior squad next month.

The Scotsman says winger Stephen Pearson is on his way to Sunderland in a loan deal, while he could be joined through the Parkhead exit by Didier Agathe and Stan Varga, who have both faded from the first team picture.

Paul Telfer and Stephen McManus have taken over their positions in defence and have satisfied manager Gordon Strachan.

Agathe is out of contract at the end of the campaign and can talk to interested parties next month, while Varga hasn't figured since the 4-4 draw against Motherwell at Fir Park in the season's opening SPL game.

How much for Agathe, could be worth a look, although Celtic are not likely to sell him for Peanuts. Which is all Caley have at the moment.

Ecstatic with a draw. Yes, i went, got a season ticket in the North Stand. Good atmosphere around the stadium considering all caley can usually muster is a tiny cry of "caley" that lasts for about 1 minute before everyone quitens down.
