There is nothing whatsoever wrong with what Bendtner said. He should be applauded when people like Fabregas are leading the line to get Taylor hung - a little bit of common sense is refreshing.

indeed. West Ham had 15 players out injured for the Sunderland match... imagine if that was Wenger's boys! |

Fabregas said nothing about Taylor till he was specifically asked a question about it a month later in an interview. And then the media took it out of context and took out the other questions that were asked, and made it look like it was a statement by Fabregas. The actual interview was posted somewhere in this forum. It wasn't Fabregas that brought it up, it was the interviewer, and Fabregas just answered, like any interviewee would. |

The article itself, yes the same thing could be said by the media's portrayal. However, I have seen the whole interview being a subscriber of Arsenal TV. It was a post match exclusive with Bendtner. Some of the quotes from the articles are not 100% accurate to what he said in this particular interview, so there might have been a separate interview/press conference somewhere else that I don't know about. The interviewer asked Bendtner what was his view from the bench. And then he goes on to explain the play itself (what he saw), quick move by Eduardo, bad tackle, shouldn't have been done, referee had no choice but to give the red, yada yada, then goes on to back up Taylor (while not saying anything about Eduardo). Then the interviewer asks the next question relating to the second half and so forth. While on the other side of the spectrum, all the other players exclusive interviews, the first thing they talk about is Eduardo, and hoping he gets better, and how he'll be missed and so forth. |

is this issue going to affect the team performance overall?.. i mean.. eduardo ain't obviously playing till next season.. which means bendtner'd be the one taking his place on the pitch.. but then.. other players seem to have sentiments against him.. so how's the team actually going to win matches?..
they should be professionals on the pitch.. give a slight tap on the back for his goal might be better rather than just being passive.. phew.. poor bendtner.. |
