Coming from Manchester I look out for local teams fixtures & results. As Blackpool is only approximately 50 miles away, an 80 minute drive, they are one of the teams I look out for.

The Seasiders gained promotion last season through the play-offs, beating Yeovil 2-0. Blackpool had a great start to the season beating Leicester 1-0 and finsing themselves climb to 5th in the league, their highest league position this campaign. Times have been a bit more difficult recently and Blackpool find themselves only 4 points above the drop zone. For me they havn't had a bad season. Most people would of thought they will go straight back down. I hope they do stay up as it would be a great achievment for not only the club but for the players also. Also, if they do stay up, I just hope they don;t suffer from secondseasonitits haha.
