Who will win this match?

I think United is in a major performance than Arsenal, but we've never got to underestimate to the Gunners.

Man Utd 3 Arsenal 0

Arsenal and Liverpool seem to be equally matched so I'm going for an identical scoreline to our game against the POOL Wink

But they'll have 11 men, probably for the whole game.

I'll go with a slim 1-0 United win.

Arsenal had 11 men when they recently got beaten 4-0 by United Wink Correction....they started with 11 and were already well beaten before the sending off......and were lucky not to be down to 9 when Gallas kicked nani who was on the ground.

Arsenal started with Hoyte and Traore in the United game that ended 4-0, who i really haven't been impressed with so far. They had a weakened side and looked dissinterested too.

To compare them to Liverpool, who psychologically are beaten by United before kicking a ball, is unfair.

The game on Tuesday could play a big part, as if they go through they may settle for putting everything into the Champions League and not trying as hard in the league, whereas if they go out they'll probably strive for that very slim chance of them catching United (given hope by United's draw with Boro). It's difficult to say how the match will go before the Liverpool game is played.

Rio will miss the Roma game on Wednesday but may be back for Sunday, hopefully.

If Rio is back then I fancy United to win but if he isn't then I can see an Arsenal win or a draw.

They haven't really played that much before this game and i too was very disappointed in their performances, especially after how well they did last year in the champs league. Those two fell right off.
I will say the bit i saw of them in the Liverpool game was far better though.

I don't care who plays for united if Arsenal think they are still in the title chase they will win this game,a lot depends on what players they have healthy and how they do in the 2nd leg against Liverpool. The players will be out to beat Man U after the drubbing last time. But i'm sure that Wenger is far too intelligent to get caught up in silly little p*ssing matches his focus will be on the champs league with a eye on trying to put a respectable fight up against united. I see Arsenal 2 Man U 0.

I have a feeling Arsenal can grab a win, it just depends who starts for Arsenal. Fabregas looked jaded on Saturday and who knows what he'll be like after tomorrows Champions League game. In saying that, utd's defence looked shakey v Middlesbrough... tough one but I'll go for :-

2-1 to Arsenal

With defensive problems I can see an Arsenal win. If Rio is back a draw.

I would like to see a draw or an Arsenal win for Chelsea's sake... buuuut i can see Ronaldo increasing his goal tally as well as maybe Rooney. So in reality Manchester will probably win 2-0 or 2-1.

i've no idea about the result of his latest test.. but he's seen to be weird in a few occassions during the match against roma last night.. guess he's forced to play since he's vital in the def area..

Poor old Rio picked up another injury in the first half against Roma and needed 3 stitches in a foot wound at half time, but he seemed fine in the second half and got through the whole game. Ronaldo, Rooney, Scholes and Evra were all rested for the Arsenal game, and with Neville and Silvestre both back in the squad to provide more flexibility of choice in defensive positions. I find it difficult to understand WHY Arsenal are tipped as favourites to win this one by the people who have voted in the poll on this thread. United are the form team and at home. Arsenal are looking a beaten and battered team, struggling with form and injuries, and are away from home against the league leaders who have recently beaten Liverpool 3-0 and previously beaten Arsenal 4-0.

I think you are in danger of making yourself look foolish with such predictions, what is your prediction based on? No team have put 3 goals into the Man U defence this season, home or away, and at home their record is only a total of 5 conceded.

United v Arsenal
