Hibs to land Hansa Rostock's Konde

Hibs are set to sign Hansa Rostock defender Oumar Konde.
The former Blackburn Rovers player had trials at Easter Road last week and impressed manager Tony Mowbray.

Former Switzerland U21 international Konde said: "Hibs have a good young team. They're fast with good technique.

"I watched a video of the game where they lost 2-0 to Inverness but they played better than their opponents.

"I like the fact the coach wants to play passing football and not just long balls."

Haha, you'd think they would send him tapes of victories.

He seems like hes going to be an ok player and we desperatley need more defenders!

He's nuts, hibs had about 1 shot on goal and consistently lost the ball in the middle of the park. Sproule is a ball-hog, didn't pass once. Suppose he doesn't need since he is so good, but i don't think Hibs use him to his full potential.
Another rumour is that of Dwight Yorke going to Falkirk to get some pre-world-cup training.
