I think the problem of Arsenal is their defense and mostly Senderos who made a very bad match. Confused

congrats to Liverpool they deserved to win it without any controversy imo.I was looking like a genius as i said if you bring walcott on in about the 70th minute he'll do damage and he did just that with a fantastic run.
My boy hleb had an ordinary game for him and i think the turning point in the game was Flamini going off.
That was a massive blow as i think he's the driving force in the team in the middle.Bit of a scrappy game a times but none the less thrilling.Time for Wenger to re-group for next season, as i think the team is going in the right direction just a little more depth at the back and up front.

F*cking hell, gutted.Imagine me when Walcott made that goal going bananas, then imagine me moments later completely doing a 360 of emotion, Unbelievable .

To be honest i don't think Liverpool played that great ,i just think those mental lapses by the back 3 (Clichy not included) let the team down by letting the ball bounce in their box for the 3rd goal.

Complete 360 degree turn of emotions that was for sure. I thought we were gone when it was 2-2. But thank you Kolo Toure I'll take that. I think it was a soft penalty to concede anyway. Babel made such a great impact when he came on and so did Walcott although his amazing run will be remembered by less.

Liverpool v Chelsea again, don't think the neutrals would like it all. Laughing

What an idiot Toure is. Walcott's run was awesome, about time that kid did something with his pace. Shame Liverpool and Chelsea with probably bore us all into oblivion in the next round.

Well, that was an alright match.

I don't know why but impulsively I cheered Arsenal's second goal, Walcott's run was absolutely amazing and obviously I didn't want Liverpool going through Rolling Eyes

But at the end of the day, I have to take my hat of to that team what plays at Anfield because they maybe possibly slightly deserved to go through....

Cracking game.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

So happy. Love seeing Arsenal players and manager dejected! Just wish Gallas would have shed a tear!

Cant believe we are in yet another semi final in Europe. It is mind boggling considering how our league form fluctuates.

Very good game. cant really be bothered to write a report. No doubt ben91 will do and i am sure it will suffice.

An absolutely breathless encounter, even from a neutral point of view, that is all too rare between the top teams these days. The first twenty minutes or so were absolutely dominated by Arsenal, they looked fluid, smooth and were passing Liverpool off the park the home side couldn't get a touch. This opening dominance told when a good passing move culminated in the impressive Abou Diaby ran through the middle pulled out wide and hit a shot that Reina in my opinion really should of done better with, considering the angle Diaby had to shoot from. That goal seemed to really spark Liverpool into life they managed to get the ball and started playing some football of their own and what a perfectly guided header from Hyppia for the equaliser, although Senderos will have to take the blame for not keeping with the big Finn. The Second half was very entertaining indeed culminating in that fantastic climax when earlier on Torres turned and finished brilliantly, before a wonderful burst from Walcott and a great pull back to Adebayor. I personally, like most other people, thought that that was that at this point, and could not believe it when a nothing penalty was given against Toure for apparently pulling on Babel, and a great penalty from Gerrard.

Your right on Senderos Steely, he looks generally clueless.

why oh why oh why can we not defend in vital matches properly .. Yet again Senderos has cost us dearly with lapses in concentration ...i have said it before ...he is not really good enough for Arsenal .
I will not moan too much about the penalty only to say it was very soft an not as clear cut as the one we did not get last week .

Like most Arsenal supporters i went from hope as we scored first , then to anger and despair as Hypia was left unmarked to head the equalizer .. When Torres turned Senderos and fired Liverpool in front the feeling was worry ....that changed to elation when Walcott came on and produced a simply amazing run and cross for Adebayor to score our second ...suddenly the semi-final was only 7 minutes or so away .

How long did that feeling last .....about a minute as , unbelievably , Toure conceded a penalty ....i was watching it and funny ..i just felt the referee was going to award a penalty ... Sad I thought it was all flailing arms myself ...very lucky decision for Liverpool in my opinion ... i did not think Gerrard was going to miss ..and he didnt ....

So utter devastation then for me ....the last 5 mins chasing for a last gasp equalizer left us open for a counter attack and sure enough Babel killed us off beating a tired Fabregas to hite the 4th and seal our fate .

It was interesting that neither Gerrard or Benitez would answer whether the best team won over the two legs ...i give Gerrard respect for his praise of Arsenal and credit to him for that . Benitez did the old we scored more goals to go through explanation ...

So utterly gutted and yet again we go out at the quarter final stage ....Liverpool`s amazing ability to overcome all in europe continues ...

Well done to Liverpool ....now who shall i support out of Chelsea , Man Utd and Liverpool .... Rolling Eyes

Come on Barcelona ...... Smile

I thought the same on this game. Arsène Wenger should have subsituted Senderos at the beginning of the match, since the beginning i have seen that he was not in his game, may be he was tired and not concentrated on his game. As i don't know how he played usually, i hope for Arsenal that it's only in this game that he was bad.
