Xavi : Quiet on Chelsea |
|
Barcelona midfielder Xavi says he will not discuss his future until the end of the season after reports in Spain linked him with a move to Chelsea.
The 25-year-old is currently negotiating an extension to his contract which ends in 2007. "All discussions of signings and offers should be left until the end of the season," said Xavi. "I would like to finish my career at Barcelona, but summer is the time to decide or to look at other options." Xavi is the longest serving player in the Barca squad and has been in impressive form for the La Liga leaders this season. His time with the Catalan giants stretches back to when Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was working as an assistant coach at the Nou Camp. |

He will stay at Barca, I mean how many players do Chelsea want to sign? He is in contract talks and will surely stay.
