Stranraer finally secured promotion to the Scottish League First Division by drawing at home to third-placed Morton.
Morton looked like claiming the victory they needed when Peter Weatherson headed home Andy McLaren's free-kick.
But the hosts hit back two minutes later when Kevin Finlayson's sweet pass was volleyed home gloriously by skipper Allan Jenkins.
Chris Templeman missed a great chance as Morton dominated after the break, but Stranraer held on to go up.
It meant that Stranraer, who have been in the top two since September, had won promotion for the second successive season.
