From what Ive seen of both sides this season, United should beat them. Barca are a shadow of their old team a couple of years ago. Ronaldinho is finished, same with Deco & Henry while Eto'o is nothing like he was either. Their defence is a disaster and will be even worse without Puyol. The only players that have impressed me all season have been Iniesta, Messi, Bojan & Xavi .

Rooney & Tevez will rip their defence apart and Im sure if Vidic is beck then himself and Rio will be able to contain Messi.

I can see United conceding at the Nou Camp but still go through overall

This season Eto'o 14 Liga games played and 14 goals scored, not bad.

I know he still scores goals, he scored a beautiful one last week but he never gets a decent enough run in the team anymore. The fact that hes only played 14 games shows that..

He played only 14 Liga games because was injured the first months of the season and then played the African Cup. I hope that with Messi he will play well against United.

I think i will go for united to win overall.

They usually blow it at this tage, but I think if they dont win it with this squad, with the other 3 teams left in being very beatable by united, then i dont know when they will win it.

United are the strongest defencively, and this usually is the decisive factor. Defences win championships!

United to win 4-2 aggregate, 2-1 in the final V Liverpool.

I'll go for a draw 1-1 or a win 2-1 for Barcelona.

I wouldn't be writing the likes of Deco or Henry of just yet. These players can be doing nothing one minute, then a flash of brilliance and they've scored. Heart says a Barca win but my head reckons United will sneak it Mad

No doubt about it, Barca have brilliant individuals that might just do it for them on the day, however, they don't appear to have it together as a team and in defence. Hopefully the game will live up to its billing, with open flowing attacking football from both sides.

Henry knows United's net very well and I am sure he'll be on the score sheet and lead Barca to the CL

If they beat Barcelona. Until then, they deserve nothing.

To be fair, United have been the best team in Europe this season. Fantastic football and they do it week in week out unlike the rest. They deserve to win it this year, that doesn't mean they will nor do I want them to

Point was though that they haven't really beaten anyone huge, nor performed amazingly in the Champions League. Which is what i was going off rather than the league.

I suppose they have been the best side throughout Europe domestically, although i don't think they've exactly been sensational by past seasons' standards.

No, they played in the group stages in '99, finished 3-3 in both legs!!

They played years ago as well, around 92-93 & Barca won 4-0 I think

Barcelona vs Manchester United, Wednesday 23rd April.
